Term Mass concentration
Definition "Mass concentration" means mass per unit volume and is used in the construction "mass_concentration_of_X_in_Y", where X is a material constituent of Y. A chemical species or biological group denoted by X may be described by a single term such as "nitrogen" or a phrase such as "nox_expressed_as_nitrogen". "Aerosol" means the system of suspended liquid or solid particles in air (except cloud droplets) and their carrier gas, the air itself.

Note see e.g. mass_concentration_of_absorption_equivalent_black_carbon_of_pm10_dry_aerosol_particles_in_air in cf standard names. The term 'Mass concentration' already exists but the definition, sampling media and the compartment is to specific and has to be expanded to Air and atmosphere at least
